The Riad Karmela privatizes its big riad, in order to allow you to organize some days between friends or family. However it is necessary to book in advance.

Only the number of a Credit Card is required to guarantee the reservation of the stay. It will be enough for us to have the numbers of your credit card, the date of validity and the last 3 numbers on the back of the card. Your card is not charged but serves as a reservation guarantee for your stay.

Cancellation: Cancellation. If canceled or modified up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. In case of cancellation or late modification or no show within 6 days prior to arrival, the hotel will charge the total amount of the reservation.

The stay is to be paid in cash or by credit card (Visa / Mastercard) at Riad Karmela. Euros and Dirhams are accepted for the payment of your stay. Given the 5% commission on card payments in Morocco. It is also possible to make bank transfers in France or pounds sterling in England without bank charges.

The airport is 8 km from the city. It is strongly recommended, or even ESSENTIAL, to book a driver in advance with Riad Karmela (15 Euros up to 3 people or 20 Euros from 4 people then possibility of mini bus depending on the number) This option will guarantee you do not have to negotiate a taxi on arrival but especially to be deposited 1 minute walk from our Riad in Ben Salah Square. Taxis that you will take by yourself at the airport are likely to leave you far from the Riad, to make you pay 50% more expensive and it will be very difficult and adventurous to find the Riad. There are notes in Morocco from 20 to 200 dirhams and coins from 0.5 to 10 dirhams.

If you do not want to use public transport (very inexpensive and reasonably well served), take taxis, but demand the meter that some forget even if this practice is becoming less common. Prices are very low (compared to France for example). Small Taxis can not leave Marrakech.
